Dance Sensations is the leading dance studio in the Illawarra and South Coast.
Established in 2001, we aim to encourage a widespread love of dance, welcoming every single student who wants to get moving!
About Our Dance Studio
Dance Sensations recreational classes are the perfect introduction to dance for students from age 18 months and above.
Our teachers focus on the performance aspect of dance, while also building solid technique and making sure every student is having a great time incorporating invaluable life and social skills.
For those looking for more of a challenge from their dancing, we offer both a competition stream of classes as well as Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Ballet classes. These RAD classes follow the prescribed syllabus that students can then choose to be examined in.
Our competition stream of classes (dance or cheer) have a higher focus on technique and flexibility. Students work towards competing in local and national competitions.

OUR VISION
Our vision is to create a world where everyone can access the magic of dance. We have witnessed first hand how dance can build character, confidence and friendships. This beautiful, enriching sport is an incredible tool to teach body awareness, self-discipline and teamwork.
Through our service of teaching dance, we strive to provide exceptional coaching and leadership to our students. While striving to instill the importance of etiquette and manners, we also focus on good self-esteem and positive body image.
In addition, we want being a ‘Dance Mum’ (or Dad) to be easy and enjoyable! You’ll find our admin team to be easy to communicate with and we won’t hit you with surprise fees or requests to sew costumes.
